Italian DJ/producer Mauro Picotto won substantive hail in the late '90s/early 2000s with a number of popular spell songs in Europe. In special, "Komodo," "Common iguana," and "Pulsar" were some of Picotto's biggest hits, non only in Italy but too in other European countries like Germany. In gain, he served as A&R and in-house producer for BXR Records, which featured a number of high profile artists like Mario Piu. In 2001, he released The Album, which compiled many of his biggest hits.
